My Science for you and me part 2

The great thing about this experiment is that it is so obvious as to why the balloon wont pop, but to see the volatile material of the balloon stand the flame is awesome. The water takes the heat and soaks it, spreading out and cooling the intensity.

The Horribly Wrong Quiz Show Ep 2

So this episode was a complete joy to produce, as was the first. I will continue to write more episodes of this series bringing in new dynamics for every episode. Episode 3 will be released in the very near future.

The Horribly Wrong Quiz Show

I finally wrote the quiz show that has been in my head for quite some time now. MattyHo07 was a great choice for the first guest on the show.
The second episode is written and being worked on already, plus 3 more guests lined up. So I guess I have my work cut out for me now. I'm happy with it and it was so much fun making this show.

Update on the Quiz Show series.

As a part of the web series I have written called "The Horribly Wrong Quiz Show", we have made an advertisement to slot into the middle of the show. As always Finn has put on a terrific performance.
I expect to have the first episode of the series finished early next week, or maybe even later today, Sunday. I have been busier than a dog chasing his own tail this week, but the forecast for my schedule see's clear blue skies. Crossing finger's.

Thats all from me, keep smiling and bye for now, BenZone.

We need more sitting in art form.

So it was, the Sit-Off challenge was laid down. SlacktiveinAction
made art out of sitting down. Then it was mentioned in "The horbawrong Show" that it was such art, people should lay down their art to better Slacktive's sitting ability, as a response to the show. So AaronSpencerLiddle
was the first to lay down his sitting ability in response. And what a fine job he did of it too. I thought I would throw my 2 cents worth into the hat and get some air time, as seen as the first video above. As mentioned by krumbine, "You really amped up the sitt-off challenge". I like to think I kept the standard above average and sent a message to those thinking of launching a challenge.
So the gauntlet is layed down people, come one, come all sit and show us your art!
Make your Sit-Off video responses here!

Thats all from me, Ben.

What keeps me busy?

What keeps me busy? This question has been a catalyst for me to evaluate what I do with my time. Makes me want to be a better person and spend my time productively. Thank you Tim TheHairyGeek
http://www.youtube.com/user/TheHairyGeek for the question posed this week on tubedorks. What is it you do to keep busy? Is it productive, or is it more of a time waster.
Thats all from me, keep smiling and bye for now, Ben.

Finns Mobile Moments part 2

I found the 2nd episode. I had started to upload them to Finn's channel and of course I totally forgot. I think these are hilarious to watch. Maybe being a parent sort of gives me the right to think that all that my child does is golden, LOL!

Finn's mobile moments 2008

Here is part 1 of the mobile moments. I dont exactly know what I have done with part 2. I will have to look around and post later. I am so glad I took the time to put these together.

Finn's mobile moments 2008 part 3

Finn just loved filming absolutely everything with his new cell phone he received from my brother when we arrived in Australia, 2008. I found the footage and thought it best to create little films out of them otherwise they would be lost in a sea of little clips from everywhere.

The grains of my thoughts

The grains of my thoughts lie on the tracks of creation.
The entity of tradition forms myths,
Burnt in the stars.
Once every lunar cycle,
The creation locomotive is struck.
The stain of the after burn,
Scrapes into the paint of the cargo carriages.
Rust never forms on lost paint,
Forever creating new shades of locomotion.
What will be, will be!
Burning on the tracks of creation.

'Alfred' by Oskars Rupenheits

This is one of many superb films included in the Life in a Day project, where if you participated you must film on the 24th July 2010. A sort of diary for the whole world on that day.

Markets for the souls

Hearts parched, flying through the dry grass.
Soul wades through Mondays soup.
Todays goal, get to the other side.
But he cries, and he cries.
She knows hes just another,
Grainy brick, in her textured wall.
She wears her heart, wannabe
Crochet, warm earthly shawl.
Her soul glides through Mondays soup.
But she cries and she cries.
Time is ticking.
Markets are for the people.
Forbidden fruits are purchased early,
In the name of the peoples steeple.

Sophistication

Dylan Thomas noted,
Sophistication is disease.
Fell on deaf ears.
Blinded by fiction,
Eyes unable to seize.
Cold dark castles as legs,
Crushing toes.
Its all a game.
Clean up this place,
Can't breathe for the woes.

Irony

It is quite ironic that a couple of days ago I made this video as the feature video on my channel and decided to keep it there for a while, when this morning I received confirmation of partnership. The one thing keeping me from completing the partnership program is successfully signing up for adsense with Google. I don't know whether its just a matter of time for it to be processed or a stuff up. Seems as though they want confirmation that I own this blog before they can accept an adsense account to complete the partner program. Sounds a little confusing to me and it has now been over 11 hours without finalisation-So close but no cigar! I keep getting an email in answer to the adsense application written in Swedish. While I do speak Swedish, it can take a while to interpret text and the details there in. So there is two ways to apply for the adsense it seems. One through the partner program and the other through a seperate website, like a blog. So when I click the confirmation link they provide me to finalise the partner program an unknown error occurs and I must refresh the page and try again. And when I try to create an adsense account through my blog here, it says the adsense account isn't active or I must create another page on the blog and include some text to prove I own the blog, and so on round and round in circles.
Incidentally the video "Taken for Granted" was made by me over two years ago. Music used in the video was made by
Audionautix on You Tube

Keep smiling and bye for now. Ben

So now I'm Partner Approved, I don't know what to do.

http://www.youtube.com/user/benzone50?feature=mhum

Hello and welcome to my new blog and my very first entry to this blog as a Partner Approved user of You Tube. There is just one problem now that I am approved to take part in the partner program on You Tube. I don't seem to be able to successfully create an adsense account to link it to my You Tube account. All day I have been struggling with this step, this step is what stands in the way of me and the partnership program. After all this step is the crucial link that pays in dividend to Google and me. I woke up this morning and checked my email and there was one shining light at the top of the list, which was the approval email, now this shining light has turned into the eternal black hole of the day.
I have toyed with the idea of asking other partner people for advise on this crucial step, but I seem to be suffering from the great male pride syndrome. The very same syndrome that most males suffer from when looking on maps and they are clearly lost in a strange and foreign city. The city I find myself in is Partnership City and I clearly can't read the map.
I would dearly love to get this step finalised by today as I would have the whole weekend to play around with Partner features on my channel. Freedom ends on Sunday night as I have to prepare myself for my first day back at work, which starts at 7am Monday morning. So starting work for the first time in 2011 as a fully fledged Partner of You Tube is kind of a big thing in my mind. Kind of the beginning of the end to "Working for the Man". Don't get me wrong, I don't expect the revenue to be flooding in at precisely 7am Monday morning or any time soon after that. Its more symbolic. Symbolic like, a cartoon figure of me telling a cartoon figure of my boss that "You are fired, I no longer need your money and bad working conditions. Have a nice life" symbolic, but that I understand is way in the future and may not even happen.

That is all from me. Keep smiling and bye for now, Ben
